How often does SunRail provide service for special events?
Last Updated: January 7, 2025Service for special events is only available when requested by local government sponsors or other groups that can provide service to the public. SunRail is not available for private charter. Services also are dependent upon the availability of SunRail crews to staff special event trains.
What time should I arrive at the station?
Last Updated: January 10, 2025SunRail recommends arriving at least 20 minutes before the scheduled departure time. Trains do not have the flexibility to wait on latecomers. SunRail advises passengers to be properly ticketed, tapped on, and ready to board at least five minutes before the train’s scheduled departure time. Our northernmost SunRail Station is located in DeLand in Volusia County, and the southernmost SunRail Station is located in Poinciana, south of Kissimmee in Osceola County.
