Prior to boarding the train for each trip, select the pass you will be using for trip to activate it. Be prepared to show the screen to the conductor or fare inspector upon request. There is no need to tap on or tap off at the Ticket Validator device.

Follow the simple steps: Tickets must be presented to the conductor or fare inspector upon request. Riders may be asked to tap on the screen. This will cause the ticket to change colors. Tapping again returns the ticket to its original state.

When should I activate my tickets?

You must activate your ticket before boarding by tapping “Use” as you see your ride approaching. Customers who do not have valid and activated fare prior to boarding can be removed from the train.
