You will need a cellular network or wireless connection to open the SunRail mobile app or purchase tickets. However, once you have purchased tickets, you do not need a cellular network or wireless connection to use a ticket because they are stored on your device. If you close the application, you cannot view account information including your tickets until you restore connectivity.
